Course Offerings

Kim has developed a teaching philosophy that combines Teaching for Artistic Behavior and Differentiated Instruction. Students are encouraged to observe the world around them as well as artwork from past and present. Traditional techniques are thoughtfully explored while students are also encouraged to innovate. Curiosity and perseverance are fostered. 

The following lists are projects and skills that may be offered during lessons. Within a 6-class series, students will complete 2-3 projects depending on age and skill level. Some classes are devoted to practicing a technique or exercise. This means students do not always leave with artwork in their hands but still knowledge and experience gained.
